I’m Tish Griffin — a financial expert, educator, and advocate who believes that money management should be real, relevant, and relatable. Armed with over 25 years of experience as a Certified Debt Management Professional and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Rockford University, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others find financial stability, confidence, and freedom.

Throughout my career, I’ve held various financial and mortgage lending licenses and certifications, including mortgage originator, realtor, and professional business coach. My work has centered around financial literacy and consumer advocacy — from mediating against unfair collection practices to implementing impactful community programs like the “Get Checking” course across Northern Illinois.

Today, I continue to live out my passion through teaching, speaking, and sharing. I host the TishTalks podcast and a weekly TV show on Chicago cable access, where I focus on financial empowerment and literacy. I’m also a contributing writer for Sistah’s Place Magazine, using my voice to inspire others to take control of their financial journeys.

What sets me apart is that I’ve lived what I teach. I know what it feels like to start over — to rebuild after life’s challenges — and I’m not afraid to share that journey. As I walk through the steps of rebuilding my own financial outlook, I’m bringing others with me, proving that it’s never too late to rise again.

At my core, I’m driven by a simple mission: to help people manage money with confidence, purpose, and grace. And when I’m not teaching or speaking, you’ll find me enjoying time with my family, exploring my love of art and theater, and finding new ways to celebrate life’s beauty and resilience.
